At Bethany Land Institute, we believe that financial hardship should never prevent a qualified individual from accessing quality education in regenerative agriculture and economic entrepreneurship. Our scholarship and financial aid programs are designed to ensure that every student who is committed to learning can participate in our residential programs.
Our Promise: NO ONE IS DENIED DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS. We work individually with each prospective student to find a financial solution that makes their education possible, whether through full sponsorships, partial scholarships, work-study arrangements, or opportunities to market farm goods to cover costs.
The Caretaker Assistance Fund provides critical support to students facing financial barriers, offering both full and partial scholarships that enable participation without compromising dignity or fostering dependency. Our approach ensures that all students have ownership in their education journey.
Complete financial support covering the entire cost of a residential program. Full sponsorships are available at $2,500 per year or $5,000 for a two-year program, provided through generous donors and the Caretaker Assistance Fund. Costs vary for the 3-year Junior Certificate and Outreach Programs.
The Caretaker Assistance Fund provides partial scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000 to supplement student contributions. These scholarships help bridge the gap for students who can contribute partially but need additional support.
Students can offset program costs through work-study arrangements and by marketing goods produced on the farm. This approach fosters ownership, teaches entrepreneurship, and helps students contribute to their education costs.
Applying for scholarships and financial aid at BLI is a straightforward and confidential process. We encourage all prospective students to have an open conversation about their financial situation, regardless of their ability to contribute. Our Development Director works personally with each student to assess needs and identify available funding sources.
