Bethany Land Institute welcomes new cohorts for its Integral Ecology programs, typically beginning in February. Our longer-form residential offerings include the Certificate in Integral Ecology (2 years), the Junior Certificate in Integral Ecology for P7 candidates (3 years), and the Integral Ecology Practitioners Program (2 years). We also host Outreach Programs for groups ranging from one week to one year.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. We encourage prospective students to contact either the Head Trainer (Principal/Chief Head Trainer) or the Academic Registrar to discuss the right program and begin your application journey.

Our programs are cohort-based, and the duration depends on the program you choose. For residential programs, trainees live on campus and engage in hands-on learning through our demonstration farm. You will rotate through various areas including livestock management, soil health, herbal gardens, and seed multiplication, while also receiving your own 10m × 10m personal farming plot to practice what you learn.
Financial Support Available: While a small trainee contribution is required, NO ONE IS DENIED DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS. We offer work-study programs, opportunities to market goods to cover costs, and access to the Caretaker Assistance Fund. Full sponsorships ($2,500/year or $5,000 for a two-year program) and partial scholarships ($500-$1,000) are available to ensure financial hardship is never a barrier to participation. Program costs vary for the 3-year Junior Certificate and Outreach Programs—please contact us for details.
